About Mohammad Yousof Hakemy

Mohammad Yousof Hakemy is a longtime Dallas-area entrepreneur who resides in Southlake, Texas. Leading a group of businesses in retail and property management since 1983, Mohammad Yousof Hakemy has pursued value-added opportunities in the acquisition and disposition of diverse properties.

Originally from Afghanistan, Mr. Hakemy studied in Kabul in the 1970s and early 1980s, majoring in automotive studies at the Afghan Institute of Technology. With a longstanding interest in real estate, he first became involved in the field after moving to Texas.

Mr. Hakemy’s range of experience extends beyond real estate investments to construction development projects. He has additionally managed a number of retail businesses over the years.

Among his industry distinctions has been serving as honorary secretary with the North Texas Business Alliance (NTBA). Organized as a cooperative, NTBA provides industry leverage and bulk purchasing power to gasoline station and convenience store owners in Dallas and beyond.
